You can now select any location for your local Auto Save files for Team Projects. You are no longer restricted to saving your Auto Save files to the default location where the application is installed which allows you to use any directory or external hard drive to manage your Auto Save files.
You can set the location of your Auto Saves files under Premiere Pro>Preference>Auto Save>Team Projects.
Team Project files are now saved in an append only file (.tpr file) which has the same name as your project. These files are more secure than the previous auto save files for Team Projects and make it easier to locate your auto-save files.
In addition to your Auto Saves, your Team Projects and their Auto-Save History is always available on the Cloud.

OK, I feel like I''m taking crazy pills. Not sure if this is new behaviour but: As shown in your screen grab above, you can set a location for TEAM projects. Great, except, I want to set diffderent locations for EACH of my many projects. Let's say I'm working on 3 projects. I have always had the auto save folder in the Premiere Pro project folder for THAT project. NOW it seems I am forced to choose ONE folder for all the projects I am working on. What happened to individual different locations for EACH project??? I do not want auto save for 3, or 30, different projects being directed to ONE folder location. Why am I only being shown ONE folder location for TEAM projects? I am not working on "TEAM" projects. Help?

Never mind! I guess I AM taking crazy pills. The behaviour hasn't changed. I misconstrued the Team Location as a global setting, which I've just confirmed it's not. I just never noticed it before and freaked out. And yes, the usual auto save location for LOCAL projects remains the same. (I tried to edit / delete my rant but that function isn't working, for me anyway...)
