Text-Based editing, text correction doesn't work in the Transcript window

Steps to reproduce:
    1. Hightlight the text you want to change in the Transcript window and hit Return key, type new words. (in my case: Traditional Chinese)

Result: ...
Left edit mode the text won't change.

System info
    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v23.5.0.15
    OS: macOS v13.3.1, RAM: 32.00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 16
