Hello,
I've been experiencing significant issues with Adobe Premiere Rush on my mobile device, specifically the iPhone 15 Pro Max, running iOS 17.1.2, with the latest Rush app update installed.
The problems I'm encountering include severe lag, frequent freezes, and continuous crashes. These issues persist even when working with relatively small file sizes, making it challenging to use the app effectively.
Has anyone else faced similar issues on the same device and software configuration? If so, have you found any solutions or workarounds?
Thank you in advance.
I read your message. The info you provided was very much appreciated. I understand that the iPhone 15 and the latest version of the app and iOS is crashing on you. Others are seeing this, as well. I reported the issue to the product team (I am in support and community) and, so far, they cannot reproduce the issue. I will continue to advocate for users for thme to investigate further, as the problem seems to be evident in other people's posts. I apologize for the problem.

What kind of footage are you shooting with the iPhone? Is it HDR, HEVC, or cinematic mode? Some formats aren't supported. Check out your camera settings on the iPhone and let us know. I hope we can help!
Thanks,
Kevin

I am unable to complete a project on the app now. iPhone 15 pro max with less than 1/4 of the 1tb of space used. Rush needs to be updated to work with the recent iPhone updates. It isn't saving my progress and then it's freezing and crashing, making me lose almost everything! This is the main app I use for my freaking day job. Adobe is going to get me fired. It's ridiculous that this isn't being addressed! They have a new app that is in beta, but it can't separate the audio and edit it seperatly, nor does it have layers set up like premier. So, it is still lacking even though it has features that Rush doesn't have. They should have just focused on Rush and added the new features to it. Now I'm stuck in between and can't really use either app. Adobe, please listen to us and address this massive gap in your services ASAP!

Sorry you're having trouble, @AdamJBarnett. I'm Kevin, from Adobe Support. I am a moderator here.
There have been troubles with some of the various formats the newer iPhones use. They are sometimes incompatible with Rush. You may want to switch off spatial audio, HDR, or cinematic video and try once more. As a fellow Rush user, I use an older iPhone and can edit and export without any issues, so it's probably a format problem, I imagine.
The Rush team does not regularly read this user-to-user forum so they probably will not be able to answer you directly. I will do my best to help you if I can. Sorry about that.
Thanks.
Kevin
