I took a 250mb MP4 and spliced it to a 34mb MP4 in Rush. No other edits, just added one to the other. When I went to render, Rush estimated the file size would be 4gb. That's more than 13 times the size of the original videos. Adobe, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? This has been reported in these forums over and over since at least 2019.
I had to do it in Premiere instead...kind of obliterates the usefulness of Rush if every time I have to do something simple, have to do it in Premiere, right?
Sorry for that @JenAdobeUser,
I will mark your response as a feature request. People have been asking for a way to control exports for a long while now. Sorry about that.
Cheers,
Kevin

Thank you @Kevin-Monahan I appreciate it. I'm sorry that you get "yelled at" for Adobe's failings in these forums.
I found the Feature Request and Bug Report Submission Form, but note that, Rush is NOT listed in the "Select Product" dropdown. Kind of hard for a user to ask Adobe for a Feature Request if I can't specify the app I want it for...
Please also be aware that your links in the earlier thread on this topic do not go to the Feature Request and Bug Report Submission Form page. Rather, the links go to the Adobe Support Community home page.
