Hi, @defaultysm9et72px63 Thanks for writing in and providing the screen recording.

I have a few questions and some suggestions.

Question:

  1. What type of media are you editing with (what's the source), and what's the resolution?
  2. Is this new behavior, or did the performance issues occur in previous versions?
  3. Where is your media stored? Internal/External SSD or disk?

Things to try:

  • Reset preferences and plug-in cache
    •  Hold down Shift+Alt while Rush is launching.
  • Clear your data cach

    •  Hold down Shift+Alt while Rush is launching.
  • Clear your data cache
    • Launch Rush > Click on Edit > Preferences > Manage Cache > Click on Delete All cache files
  • Update GPU driver
  • Render your sequence
    • From within a project, go to the Sequence menu and select "Prepare for Playback."
  • Try to lower the quality of playback.
    • Under the monitor, click on the more options menu > Select, Preview Quality > Set Preview Quality to Low or Medium.
  • If you create a synced project, you can edit using the proxies files. To do this, go to the View menu, select Use Optimized Clips.

If those suggestions do not help performance, please let me know, and we can dive deeper.

ANYONE WHO HAS THIS PROBLEM THIS IS THE ISSUE.

Your files are too big for rush to handle, but when synced it uses proxys, significantly smaller files which is so much easier for rush to use.

HOW TO SYNC

(it speeds up litterally everything because it uses proxies, smaller files)

Oh thats awesome, just turn on sync and... umm... its a premium feature -_-
So unless i pay for premium i have to wait couple of minutes every time i add, remove or edit anything in a project.
