Why won't vector images show up in media libraries

I just want to drop a vector logo in my video, and no matter what format i save it in through Illustrator, I can't import it to Rush. "Cannot read from disk" "Cannot preview image" How can something so simple be so complicated? Somebody help please!

Hey EdwardM! Are you on a Mac or a PC? If you export your image from Illustrator as a PNG it should import to Rush without a problem. Here's what I'd try:

 

- Check the color space of your file in Illustrator, make sure it's in RGB and not CMYK

- Save your PNG logo file to different locations onto your computer and see if it will import from there
