I want to display a list of topic names when searching from the search box in WebHelp. Since the text in the topic is displayed, I want to hide it.
Update 10 is now available. Enter 0 in Topic Description should give you what you want.

For what version of RoboHelp? If it's 2019, is it 2019 Classic or the new beast?

It will mean going to each topic but this seems to work. In Properties > Topic there is a Description field. Enter a space only there and save. In the Output search options tick the Use Topic Description option and set the number of characters to 1. The user search will then show the Topic title and the file name only, the file name will be in a small font.

Make sure you tab out of the Description field before you save the project, otherwise the topic does not show as dirty and the change will not be saved.

The only way I can find for Responsive HTML5 is the same method as Peter suggested.
However, if WebHelp means Frameless, then you can change it in the skin.
Open the Frameless skin. On both the Home Page and Topic Page tabs, find result-item-summary. Expand the Layout section and set display = none. If you also want to hide the path, then do the same for result-item-path in both places.

I can't say when but I am hopeful that in an update setting the number of characters to zero will achieve what you want without having to go to the description field of every topic. That would allow you to use your existing skin. Otherwise Amber has posted how to achieve it using a frameless skin.
