Cannot delete a folder in Project Manager

I have renamed a folder in Project Manager in RoboHelp 11. A folder with the new name has been created, but the original folder still exists in Project Manager but not on disk. It contains a sub folder with an "h" icon, which I suspect is why I cannot delete it. The project is one of three child projects in a parent/child environment. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Perhaps try clearing the CPD?

One thing you can also try is to look at the .fpj file with a text editor like Notepad but

Be very cautious if you do!!!

Please use caution if you are poking around in the .fpj file.

Make a backup of your project to avoid bad things!!!

That said, don't be scared! <wink>

You will see something like the following, which is from one of my project folders. Look within the <folder> </folder> tags for the folder that you can't seem to delete.

You may also need to look downstream a level as well. For example, within my "Active Directory" folder, there is also a .fpj file called "Active Directory.fpj"

Well, yeah there's always that option. You can pull the splinter out using tweezers or you can grab the scalpel and slice open the finger. Your call.

Thanks both of you. I previously tried renaming the .cpd file, with no success. I just removed the reference to the rogue folder in the Root.fpj file and it worked perfectly. Problem solved.

LOL, some splinters are stubborn critters.
