iframe name does not show up in display in frame list

I am trying to make in page tab browsing using iframe in Modern RoboHelp.

When I add an iframe using Insert HTML Elements, It does not provide a place to insert a name. It has a place to assign an ID. I have to assign a name to the iframe manually in HTML. (Assigning an ID does not seem to help.)

I have manualy added the name "TabFrame" to my iframe.

When I add a hyperlink to the page, the name of the iframe is not present in the list of names of Frames.

This is the code that works:

 <h1>Test tabs</h1>
  <p><a href="../Release_Notes/2024/August_14_2024/Branding_Update.htm" target="TabFrame">Link 1</a></p>
  <p><a href="../Release_Notes/2024/August_14_2024/General_Enhancements.htm" target="TabFrame">Link 2</a></p>
  <p><a href="../Release_Notes/2024/August_14_2024/Node_Enhancements.htm" target="TabFrame">Link 3</a></p>
  <p>iFrame:</p>
  <p><iframe src="../Release_Notes/2024/August_14_2024/Branding_Update.htm" width="560" height="315" name="TabFrame"></iframe></p>

I would like it though to be easier to just attach the hyperlink to the iframe without having to use HTML because not everyone in my team is versed in HTML. Is there something I am missing in RoboHelp to make this work correctly?

Thanks for including your version of RH - what are you trying to create? Is this Responsive HTML5 or Frameless or something else?

I'm very unsure of what the goal is & what it's supposed to look like..

I am trying to create Frameless, but it should work in HTML5 as well. That does not get determined until I do an Output. I have both setup. The issue is that it appears RoboHelp supports iframes, but they are not working as they should. There is no way to point a link to the iframe once I have added it unless I edit the HTML manually and add a name to the iframe and a target to the link.

Ok, so I've not heard of anyone trying to create an iframe in a Frameless project - but your issue is that the iframe name attribute isn't being exposed in the RH UI, correct?
That's a conversation you should have with the RH folks - see https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#robohelp for your Adobe Support options. I'd recommend using the tcssup@adobe.com e-mail address as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including RoboHelp.

On this one I don't think Support will be able to do much other than report it to engineering as it is going to need a coding change.

Could you not add a bookmark immediately before the iframe?
