Good afternoon,
I have set up my child project folders and parent project folder. When I start freash with nothing in any of the folders, ny child projects generate in their correct location. I can click the index and the page only displays the one project.
After I generate the parent project and go back to the child project index, all the child projects appear in the output. Can you help be determine why I have to clear the folders and generate againg to only see one child project in the output after I generate the parent project?
To summerize:
If you are using a merged setup, this is the expected result. When the parent and children have all been generated into the correct folder locations, a consolidated table of contents for all projects included in the merge will be displayed.
Just to add a bit of background to what @Amebr has said.
In Classic versions of RoboHelp you the child project worked both within the merge and standalone. That has changed. Now when you generate a child project it works within the merge as @Amebr has explained but in the new UI versions it does not work standalone.
If for some reason you need it to also work standalone, create a duplicate preset and generate to somewhere outside mergedProjects. Note that if you do that you cannot then copy
