Hi,
I am using RoboHelp 2019 Update 7 (14.0.7.004).
Try to create a word file and use hyperlink that contains '#' inside it (ex: Michael Collins (astronaut) - Wikipedia ).
Import the word file in RoboHelp and notice that the hyperlink is become empty, repeat the steps but remove the '#' from URL and notice how it is imported correctly
i think this is a bug please advice.
Adobe are now aware of this but I don't know when it will be fixed. Meantime I understand that if the # symbol in Word is replaced with %23, the import will have a working link.
Sorry but that's the best I can offer.

Using the same version I created a document with the link lifted from the address bar in Wikipedia. The image shows the link after import and with Preview selected as above, the link opens.
Try with a new project and use all the default settings. Did you copy and paste the link?

I tried it in a new blank project with default settings, i am trying to attach the used word file but i can't find a place to attach it here.
Can you send me your email to send you the word file i used?
The word file used look like this image:
and the robohelp html file after import look like this:
notice how the href attribute is empty.

It is importing fine for me.
The steps for importing are described in the RoboHelp Reimagined sample project but if all you did was point to this document and leave all settings untouched, I can't see why it is failing for you.
Where is your project located and what is your operating system?

OS: Windows 10
default project location on c drive.
I am using RoboHelp classic, could this be the reason?

Quite possibly using Classic is the cause. You hadn't said which version you were using and my screenshots show I was testing in 2019 new. Please make that clear in future posts.
It is failing for me too. I will see what I can find.

It seems to be a bug and it also occurs in 2017.
The only workaround I can suggest for now is to add the link between the quotes in a href=""
I hope there aren't too many.

I am sorry for that it was my fault.
Can you add a bug to your database so it can be fixed in future releases.
Many Thanks

I am not Adobe. This is essentially a user to user forum. Normally I would give you a link to report this as a bug but I am liaising with Adobe so hold up until I post back.

Related to this issue,
The %23 work around caused us some other issues so we recommend fixing this problem.

It might help others to know what the other issues were, both here and in the bug report. Grateful if you could add that.
