I’m a long time user/purchaser of your stock images - great choice, easy to use site but most importantly high quality images. However I’ve been really disappointed with my recent experience. I’m working for a small business start up & decided to use a selection of ‘roomscapes’ to illustrate their working practice  it was really important to get the right atmosphere as well as suitable colourway & content. To this end we shortlisted one of your images 543990190 for use on the client’s website, ads, business cards & flyers. This image was selected as one of 5 to appear on business cards & flyers & this went to print. However when we sent it to be used on the website one of our designers got back to us with serious conserns that the image was not of the quality she’s expect.
 
The first thing that was noticed was some seriously crude retouching where the laptop edge meets what appears to be a mouse pad but on closer inspection there seemed more areas that just didn’t make sense – something odd happening with the keyboard, a very wonky cup & possibly a book that was now a trianguar shape! On the surface the image appears to be a natural ‘reportage' shot of an everyday room with a laptop but it’s actually an unresolved AI generated one. I know the maxim is ‘buyer beware’ but I trusted this to be a real image from a trusted supplier. It was not flagged as ‘Generated by AI’ (but I see that many by the contributor Jesse are). I am now left with a reprint cost & extra time spent explaning  the situation & finding a replacement for the website  – small amounts I know but one that I can’t pass onto my client.
 
I’m disappointed & expect more form Adobe Stock. I look forward to hearing back from you on this matter. Regards – Karen

Adobe employees sometimes follow this forum but we are otherwise contributors and cannot be of direct assistance. You should contact Adobe support directly. But I agree, the image should never have been accepted.
