Adobe question on Vector

I uploaded 3 vector images to adobe  in AI (Adobe Illustrator) format.  All 3 were approved today. I noticed the images were labeled AI/EPS, JPEG and PNG. I only uploaded an AI version, so why is it also labeled EPS, JPEG and PNG. Shouldn't it only be labeled AI?

Again, I only created an AI version. Does adobe create the EPS, JPEG and PNG versions if the buyer wants one in one of  those versions?

I would think it labeled AI/EPS, JPEG and PNG  would confuse the buyer.

Simple answer. Yes, all files are automatically made at the choosing of the purchaser if you uploaded a vector AI graphic. PNG is for graphics/images that have a transparent background.

So the buyer can say "I just want the PNG version” or "I want the AI and PNG files" or "I want all 4  AI/EPS Jpeg and PNG"

I think  you understood the only image I uploaded was the AI version. So if the buyer wants the PNG version or any combination of the versions that I did not upload, Adobe will make them for the buyer. OR does Adobe just give all 4 versions to the buyer when purchasing the AI version?

Customers are purchasing the image. 

If it's a vector graphic, they may download whichever file type they need  -- .ai, .eps, .png (.jpg is just the raster thumbnail).

The buyer choses what they want, but sales is only once. They can redownload as often as the asset stays available.

Yes. You upload the vector file (Ai, EPS, SVG) and Adobe generates a PNG file (if there is a transparent background) and a JPEG file (always, JPEG does not have transparency) and the buyer decides what they want to download.

So, if your asset has a transparent background, it is much more interesting to the buyer.

This is true for any asset uploaded after Adobe started to accept PNG files. Legacy files will not get PNG asset choice.
