Rejected images can not be deleted. They are there to serve as painful reminders of rejection. 🙂 Just kidding. We're not sure why rejected images can't be deleted, but they can not be removed.

It reminds me of my failures. That's a good reason. They are not the real images but only thumbnails. I use them to look up my old rejections and compare them with my new ones, if I have a doubt about the moderators getting more stringent (they are not, btw).

 

I think with the thumbnails Adobe keeps a record and if you send the same file 20 times, and it's rejected, they'll tell you to stop.
