Contributor critique - "quality issues"?

Your titles say it all. Don't try to make adjustments for "artistic purposes." Let the buyer do that if they so wish to do so.

Try to imagine how a Buyer would use such images. The first is so blurred and poorly composed that it's impossible to determine what's going on, the second image is also similarly blurred and not well composed.

Nothing of the first file is in focus plus motion blur. Your subject must be in sharp focus. Also the composition is not good. Your subject must be easily identified.

In like manner as the first file, nothing of the second file is in focus. Also, you should not submit black and white. All your files should be in color.

They are nice pictures, if you want to post them on social media. But do not expect commercial users having a need for such assets. Stock is about craft, not art.

 

Consider selling furniture, and you have a stool, where nobody can sit on. Nobody will buy that stool, even if it is the most artistic stool you can imagine. If the stool is usable you will sell it, if it is also beautiful, you will sell more of it. That is what your pictures for stock should be. Usable and beautiful.
