Help me, what's wrong with these pictures?

1 - focus and noise. There are already millions of sunrise/sunset images in Adobe stock so it is unlikely that yours would ever get accepted or sold.

2 - haze, focus, poor composition 

3 - focus and chromatic aberration 

4 - underexposed; same comment as #1

5 - artifacts/lack of detail

All of these images appear to have been captured with a mobile phone camera (the portrait orientation is often overused when shooting with a phone). While it is not impossible to get good enough images from a phone camera, it is definitely more challenging, and you still have to edit them to clean up some flaws.

The main problem with smartphone cameras is that they don't enlarge so well. For stock purposes, they could be enlarge to quite a large size, so then the qualities of the sensor start to be noticed - as in your shots, when enlarged to 100% or more compression artifacts become noticeable.

Your sunset shot - the blacks are just a bit too black!

Another thing about stock is to ask yourself -- How can they be useful commercially!

The first photo is noisy and underexposed. Details are lost in the dark area.

The color of the second file is not looking natural. Also there might be a highlight issue.

It's the same color issue the the third photo, and also there is purple color fringing in the highlights.

You need to zoom in on your images at between 100 and 200% to inspect them for errors.
