After submitting the file, we see a notification that says, "Thank you for your submission, your files will be reviewed as soon as possible, moderation may take up to 4 weeks."
My 1100+ files that were submitted 4 weeks to 3 months ago are not yet published. For example, Halloween is on October 31, 2023, but My files are still under review. If the file is published after Halloween, my work, time, and investment will be of no value.
How many days in advance should we start working on future events? Please tell us clearly how long it will take for the file to be reviewed.
2 months or longer, especially if one is new to Adobe Stock. Once your first set of images are accepted (which can range anywhere for a dozen to two dozen, give or take), images will be reviewed on a more regular basis (possibly daily, or at least every other day). I started submitting Christmas themed images about a month ago.
Your Halloween work will still be of value...next year, perhaps, but still of value eventually. So put that aside for now and start gearing up for New Year's and Valentine
Have you not had any images reviewed yet? The "4 weeks" message that you see when submitting appears to be an average for all asset types, but the actual review time varies by how many are in the overall queue and the asset type. Illustrations, including Gen AI, is the largest queue and takes the longest.
Adobe Stock receives thousands of submissions per week. Yours are in the wait queue with everyone else who submitted before you. You must wait your turn the same as everyone.
If you're submitting seasonal images, plan ahead. Submit them at least 4-6 months before the target date. You may miss out on this season due to tardy submission. If accepted, you'll be all set for next year's Halloween. Start planning your Spring images now. 🙂

That said, bear in mind that while Adobe representatives sometimes check in on occasion, we are otherwise all contributors like yourself here and we can't tell you exactly how long it will take for your images to be reviewed.

What you get as an indication is a rule of thumb. According to Adobe, assets get moderated at latest 2 months after submission. Submission is not uploading, but unfortunately Adobe starts the timer at uploading, but says submission.
There is no guaranteed moderation timing, so you should start well ahead of the event and submit daily so that your assets get moderated daily. The most common error people do, is to submit all the same day.
It's the risk of doing business to invest and getting little or no return.
