This topic is so absurd, it's astounding! Obviously you are NO legal scholar.
We cannot tolerate discussions that suggest it's "OK to to steal AI assets because I saw something on the Internet." That's not how the LAWS work.
If you wish to pursue this matter, talk with a properly trained attorney who is well-versed in international intellectual & digital property laws. Perhaps they can school you and set things straight.

The point is that you cannot copyright AI-generated images. The images used by AI are already stolen images.

I won't give you a personal appreciation of this, but it is far from decided if the images “used” by AI are stolen. If they are “stolen” it's because of harvesting and storing massively images, not because of analysing those images and creating new assets based on those analyses.
And the copyright issue is far from decided. Please note, that the rest of the world does not include the USA and that copyright is based on local law and international conventions, not on US law!
Getty Images and a number of artists have filed lawsuits against some of these platforms—Stable Diffusion, Midjourney and Deviant Art—for copyright infringement. Those cases have yet to be heard in court.

Yes! That does not allow you to “steal” assets.
The fast-growing field of generative AI has raised novel intellectual property issues. The Copyright Office has also rejected an artist's bid for copyrights on images generated through the AI system Midjourney despite the artist's argument that the system was part of their creative process.

As I said, my assets are protected in the USA based on international law. If assets from US artists are unprotected in the USA, they are also unprotected world-wide. The copyright issue in the USA is an interpretation of the copyright office, which has some judiciary power.
I'm old enough to have programmed, when programs were not protected by copyright. And programs were not patentable, as they were considered to be simple formulas. Databases were not protected by copyright. That all changed.
When new “things” materialize, there is always a discussion about if it does fit here and there. However, you should be very careful, as your opinion may not be what is covered by the law and the contracts you have. You should stay away from actions that may harm you, if you do not have the cash to sustain a fight before the tribunals.
