I’m a contributor from Pakistan, and my account doesn’t show the Firefly AI training opt-in section. When will it be available for my region?

There is no such opt-in setting. You may be selected by Adobe to participate in Missions, which are designed to solicit very specific images which Adobe uses to train Firefly. If you are selected, you will see a bannner on your Dashboard page which you can click to,learn the requirements.

Thank you so much Jill for clarifying this.
I really appreciate your time and detailed response.
I am very interested in contributing to Adobe Firefly or similar Missions in the future. Could you please guide me on what kind of content or themes are most likely to be considered for these Missions?
For example, should contributors focus more on commercial lifestyle concepts, abstract visuals, or AI-trainable image categories?
Any additional information or reference links about how Adobe selects contributors for Firefly Missions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you once again for your kind guidance and support.

We don't know now how Adobe selects contributors to participate in a mission. I suppose it might have something to do with the type of content in your portfolio, your sales history, and/or your acceptance rate, but that's just a guess. I have been asked to participate in quite a few Missions, but haven't submitted to any of them. It's a lot of work for just a small payout. For instance, hundreds of pictures (taken with a camera, not AI) of houses of different styles from different angles. The payout was ~$50. Another mission required taking many pictures of groups of random objects from different angles. If and when you are selected, you will have to read the very detailed brief to decide whether you want to participate. If you don't follow the requirements precisely, you won't get paid.

Thank you so much for explaining it in detail that really helps me understand the process better.
It’s good to know that selection might relate to portfolio type and consistency, and I truly appreciate you sharing your own experience with Missions.
Even though the payout sounds limited compared to the effort, it still sounds like a great opportunity to learn more about how Adobe’s creative missions work and what kind of data they value most.
I’ll keep focusing on improving my portfolio and maintaining high acceptance and sales rates.
Really appreciate your time and helpful insights!

Missions change based on what customers are searching for and the inventory available to meet those demands. It could be almost anything.
Just keep doing what you're doing.

Contributors are apparently selected at random. While I am a retired photographer, I only submit AI, and I was a bit surprised to be eligible to submit Mission images this year. If you have seen the banner by now, you probably weren't selected.

Thank you for sharing your experience — that really helps!
I’m also an active contributor and very interested in participating in Firefly Missions, but I haven’t received any banner or selection notice yet.
Since you’ve already been part of these Missions, could you please share a bit more about how contributors are usually chosen or if there’s anything specific we can do to increase our chances of being selected (like content type, upload consistency, or portfolio size)?
I’d really appreciate any advice or insights you can offer.

While selected to participate, I won't be doing so. While I was a photographer for a good 30 years, all my submissions to Adobe Stock are AI, so I was surprised to have been selected. Yes, I could blow the dust off my Canon and ask a couple of friends to act as models, but after paying them for their help, the amount of effort needed to participate with relatively little payout in return is prohibitive.
