Hi everyone!

I'm pretty new to Stock photography and to photography in general.

I would like to ask you for feedback in this image, which was rejected because of Quality Issues

Can you please help me to understand what is/are the problem/s with this one?

Thanks in advance for the feebdack! It's great to have the opportunity to learn from all of you!

Have a great day!

Great stock photos begin with proper lighting, neutral white balance and a clear theme or subject that customers can search for by keywords. In Stock, less is usually more.   See screenshot from Photoshop.

Hope that helps.

I think the primary problem is the focus. The photo is too soft and slightly out of focus.

The image is underexposed and not sharply focused. There are probably intellectual property issues as well - signs and recognizable people - but it's too dark to properly evaluate.

What the others have mentioned, and you have a slaned horizon line and some lens distortion going on. Here is the image with some minor corrections for that.Screenshot 2024-04-04 at 1.56.15 PM.jpg

Hi @Ale90BsAs ,

The photo also has grain noise. You need to zoom in at between 100 and 200% to look for the issues.

Best wishes

The first is the high noise level.

The second is composition. Either the bike in the foreground is the subject, or it needs to go.

You can also do minor adjustments to the exposure, but in general, it's OK.

Focus is also OK, I think you have focussed the wall.

A different issue is the people. Some of them are recognizable or would surly be recognizable without that noise. For each of them, you will need a model release. You won't have that, so you cannot use the picture.

Hello,

Composition needs work. The bike is a distraction to the photo. The photo is also very flat.

If you want the 'rent-a-bike' part of the photo, make the bike part of the composition, or if it is more about the street view, don't include the bike.
