Hi everyone,
I would like to share two updates regarding the submission of generative AI images to Adobe Stock. We have updated the contributor portal and added an additional checkbox that eliminates the need for you to attach a property release for generative AI images featuring people or property that are fictional.
In addition, you can now submit photo-realistic generative AI images as asset type photos, i.e., content that looks as though it could have been created by a camera, as long as you check the box that it was created with generative AI tools. All other generative AI content should continue to be submitted as asset type illustrations.
You can read the details on all the updates in our learn and support page here:

Let me know if you have any questions.

We won't reject your file if you include "generative AI" in your title and/or keywords. This particular line is more a suggestion than a mandate.
Thanks for the question,
Mat

Why were the AI photos checked after 6 days? normally the time for AI pictures is over 4 weeks?

No one knows why some images are reviewed sooner. Just lucky I guess? Bu that doesn't have anything to do with the quality issues you reported.

Don't complain. Be happy about the speedy moderation.

Hm. I tried experimenting and marked one of my photorealistic portraits as a photo instead of an illustration. I got this warning. The AI boxes were both check. Got nervous so I switched it back to an illustration.

Ignore that, when you are not required to issue a model release. It's saying “potential”, it's not saying “A model release is missing”. For AI, if your picture depicts a fake model, use the new flag offered under the "Generative AI tools":
That's equivalent to a property release under the old rules for fake people.

Yep, I finally figured that out. Although some of my photorealistic portraits are borderline between illustrations and photography, so I continue to label those as illustrations.

I just wanted to point that out, to give an answer to this, as people may hesitate when seeing your message and no answer. If the asset is borderline, I think it is good to submit as an illustration.
