Im trying to get into video and are curently produceing MP4 files.
My issue is when I do a search for videos simlair to mine the first page are all MOV files.
Does this mean MOV files sell better than MP4 files or am I reading to much into it?

No, basically there is no difference between mp4 and mov files. Both are container files and the codec determines how the asset got encoded. If you are seeing more mov files, it may well be that more users are submitting mov files, because of the codecs used. And mov files originate from the Apple environment, and it may be that more users are using Apple equipment than Windows machines to do editing. That is only a guess of mine, if you are using the right tools on a Windows computer, it works

Which ice cream flavor is better? Flavor is a preference, not a quality standard.
Online file converters and Adobe Media Encoder can transcode video to whichever file type is preferred.
Hope that helps.
