what's Adobe's comments for the rejection?

My first thought is that the poem could be subject to copyright protection. My other thought is that you made it all about the poem and not the typewriter.

can you shoot it again with all the focus on the keys?

try uploading a few more times, Lve had photos accepted on the 4th try... and yes I don't get it either

Sepia toned assets are generally rejected, and I'm not sure what's going on with the two areas circled.

There are at least two issues: it's monochrome and such conversions are not allowed; and it's not well composed. More of the typewriter and less of the background.

  • Bad lighting,
  • Reflections,
  • Noise & artifacts,
  • White balance is too pink.
  • Histogram shows marked clipping on both sides -- shadows & highlights are missing.

A nice idea that didn't work.  Better luck next time.

Hi @Wildstrawberries ,

The file is noisy, underexposed, not sharp and has a color issue. Your picture should be looking natural as you'd see the subject naturally.

This appears to have been shot outside through a glass window.

This user-to-user community can't tell you exactly what was going through the Reviewer's mind.  We don't have a crystal ball.  But it's fair to say that it was rejected for Quality & Technical reasons rather than an IP violation for the typewriter.
