Feature Suggestion

I couldn't find the link to UserVoice so thought I'd make a post instead, I think it would be really beneficial to designer if you could enter the information into multiple nodes at the same time.

For Example, selecting multiple material inputs in a graph and be able to fill out attribute information, like Group or Visible If, all at once. (see image) with only a few inputs I can understand but when things start getting big like with the multi material blend node having upwards of 90 input nodes, this would be super handy vs entering info into each individual node one at a time

Hello Dan,

Thank you for the feedback and suggestion, this is indeed a request we see come up regularly.

We understand the value behind it for accelerating workflows and have discussed it internally more than once. It is definitely something we are interested in offering in a future release. There is some thought and design going into such a feature, and we want to make sure we get it right.

In the meantime, the Python API may be used to copy and paste parameters between nodes without needing to go through a presets file. Here is an example from Olivier Lau.

Thank you for your patience and feedback!

Best regards.
