In fact I wanted to greatly increase the resolution of the textures.

it's possible ?
thank you

Hello @Abilio5EC9,
Thanks for the message.
This is possible to increase the texture resolution using several UDIM, but you can't simply rescale the UV islands out of their UV tile.
Using UDIM isn't rescaling your current tile for a bigger one, it is adding new tiles to the 3D model. E.g. if you have a 1024x1024 texture and you add two new UDIMs, you'll now have three 1024x1024 textures. Therefore, the UV islands must behave as usual, not spilling out their tile and taking as much space as they can in their respective tile.
For the messed up result you showed us in your first message, this is due to the fact that Substance Designer can't currently work on multiple UDIM at the same time, so you'll only be able to display one udim at the time. I advise you to check this tutorial on the subject.

Can you share a little bit more on the project? What parent size are you working with?
Are you working with Baked maps? What are their resolutions? Can we have a closer look at your UVs as well?
Let me know.

Hi Abilio,
From what I can see, it looks like your UV islands are overlapping, which will result with unwanted artifacts. Make sure the islands aren't crossing each other, and I also advise you to keep a margin between the islands (also to avoid artifacts).
Would you mind sending me the 3D model you're using for your project? This way, I'd be able to give you a proper help. You can send it to me at cdellenbach@adobe.com

In substance designer, is it necessary for objects to have the back part, the part that the camera will not show?
Is it necessary for objects to be completely closed?
thank you very much

If I cut a plane in half to fit better in a UV, will I have problems when texturing in Substance?
Is there any procedure to prevent the seam from showing?
thanks
