BUG: Hex color input broken

It appears that today's update (7.4.2) has broken the hex color input in the color picker popup. In the attached screenshot, for example, with the hex input field selected, if I type 'F' as the first character of the hex string, it defaults as the second character in the string with all other characters as zero.

Can anyone confirm this?
