Issues with baking - strange artifacts and lines

I've been experiencing issues with my bakes and couldn't find any resolution. I've tried out with this head I modeled (not sure if the retopology is worth anything) but after I did the bake I got the results below. I tried with both Painter and Marmoset.

Why do I get these artifacts? I also tried with other parts of the character and got a lot of distortion... Can anyone help{

It looks more like polygons to me. Is your high poly with smooth normals as well?

Hi,

Have you exported your mesh with smooth normals?

Could you share your baking parameters?

Thank you,

Kind Regards,

Geoffroy SC

Hi Geoffroy,

Now I exported with smooth normals and got a cleaner result, thank you! Still, when I bake the normal map, I get pixelated results even though I've enabled antialiasing 8x8. Check out the settings and result below:

Indeed, I missed to smooth the normals on the high poly. Thank you so much for the quick answer! Have a good day/night! 🙂
