Hi folks,
I created a material in Substance Sampler from a photo, then shared that material into Substance painter and applied it to a mesh. The material looks totally different in SP, it loses a great deal of quality and takes on a plasticky look. How can I get the same quality in SP that I'm seeing in Sampler?
Thank you!
Does the mesh in Painter have enough texel density to avoid the low quailty issue? Also make sure you're not doubling up height/normal and double check your channels that you're matching the ones from Sampler in Painter.
If you still cannot solve the problem it would help to get the files to check.

I attached screenshots above to show the problem.
Cheers!

Hi, sorry for the late response. The problem was indeed the texel density. Thanks for the tip!
