Hi, Could you completely uninstall and remove everything and download the latest addon .zip files from here: Substance 3D Addon for Blender?

Also, make sure the Substance3DIntegrationTools folder in C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Adobe is completely deleted. And before re-installing make sure that the Substance Remote Engine is not running with Task Manager.

For mac, completely uninstall and remove everything and check if there are any old Substance integration tools processors running in the activity monitor. If yes, then make sure to kill that.
Then do a fresh download of the latest addon .zip files from here: Substance 3D Addon for Blender.

Hi @besil28838831jram and @aKram25522435s0h4 , we are currently working on a refactor of the integration tools to resolve Mac related install issues that some users are running into. No ETA on a release so far, but please stay posted for any updates.

In the mean time, I suggest manually removing the integration tools folder with the instructions here. Then re-install the tools. If you encounter the same error, check to make sure that the Load button in the 3D panel works or not.

This happened to me but I gott it working. Try installing straight from your downloads folder, instead of dragging the Intergration tools folder to the desktop it should sync correctly.

Hi @Pepe_stock , what OS are you using? If you check the console when installing it should give you an error message you can share here.

In case you are using Mac, note that Safari will auto unzip the files, which messes up the install. Try disabling "open safe files after downloading" in Safari settings or download the zip files with a different browser.

Thanks for the screenshot. Based on the message it looks like the issue occured when trying to upgrade from a previous version or there were errors that occured during install and the tools folder has to be deleted manually before trying again. Please try the following:

  1. Completely close Blender
  2. Navigate to C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Adobe
  3. Delete the Substance3DIntegrationTools folder
  4. Open Blender
  5. Go to Window > Toggle system console. You will see a windows console appear. This should give us a more detailed error should it occur again.
  6. Navigate to the Add-on preferences for the Substance add-on. You will see the red text asking you to install the tools.
  7. Click install from disk and install the newer version of the tools again.
  8. If you see an error again, copy the complete log that appears in the window from step 5 and share it here so we can diagnose further.

Thanks for sharing your solution and including the annotated image! The wmic error occurs rarely for some users and can really only be noticed with the console open, so thank you for checking.

For anyone else seeing the "wmic is not recognized" console error, please check your system variables as done above. See our troubleshooting documentation for more information: https://helpx.adobe.com/substance-3d-integrations/3d-applications/blender/troubleshooting.html

Don't use Safari, it will mess up the zip file. Use Chrome for example.
