Hello! Perhaps my question has been asked here more than once, but unfortunately I have not found a solution. I need to export textures from Substance Sampler (the latest version of the program) in resolution 8k. I import textures in resolution 8k, do something with them and need to export in the same way in 8k. Thanks in advance for the answer!

Hi everyone,

Now that the Upscale feature has been released, you can upscale your material to 8K or even more! With that being said, I advise you to first check our tutorial on the subject, and always keep an eye on optimization.

Best regards,

Hi,
The feature to export in 8K isn't available in Substance 3D Sampler for now.
You can upvote the idea here: https://feedback.substance3d.adobe.com/forums/911713-substance-3d-sampler

Thank you

Of course not! Otherwise the status of the request would have been updated.
Some features can take longer to be chosen and developed.
We always consider the requests of our users.

Why is it too hard to work with 8K? Photoshop, ZBrush, Marmoset, etc. has no problem with that.

This is because of technical limitation of our software, it is a big challenge to find a way that will work for all users without issues like crashes. Other softwares have significantly different structures and ways to work this is normal we don't behave the same way.

Thank you.

If an app during the development has limited or non scalability abilities then its a structural problem.

One thing is for sure; that Sampler in 2023 is very limited without 8K support since now is the industry's minimum standard request.

I would highly suggest though don't look only the 8K but start working in 16K support as this is already in high demand.

8K is the minimum in pipelines including game engines from now and onwards.
