Hi, I can't find a fix for this issue. The images I place on 3d models appear in low quality, even if the original is super sharp. Importing from PSD UV map gives the same result..

There is currently not a fix. This has been a major bug since stagers release. After dozens of hours of banging my head against the concrete, the only work-around that really works for me is to use Adobe substance painter to add the label and other materials and use the painter-stager link to bring the model into stager... but this is faaar more labor intensive (and imprecise in my opinion) than the promise of simply applying a decal in stager. I have been told by the Stager PM that they are aware of the issue and that it is not an easy fix, but are currently working to fix this in a upcoming version.

The fact is that Painter gives me the same issue, I tried the workaround but with not much better results.
It's a real shame because this software is sold with a promise it can barely keep, and I remember having this issue even a year ago with Dimension...

Sorry you were not able to get better results from Painter. It is hit or miss and honestly it is too labor intensive (not profitable) for the work I do. If Adobe gave me both creative cloud and substance for free for the next several years, it might come close to compensating for the number of wasted hours I have spent trying to make Stager work for my branding/packaging work. Even though I purchase the substance package, I often revert to dimensions to accomplish much of my work... and yes, there is similar issues in Dimensions, just not as bad.

Well said David !
and I have to give you an extra upvote for correctly using the word "revert" , it is THE biggest pet peeve of mine, people who have no clue how to use this word. You will hear it on radio, on LIVE TV, on TV shows all-the-time. "Revert back" sheesh..... it's like "endorsing a check on the back " - that one makes me cringe too. Revert back is reduntant and you always know somebody who has a grasp on a language when they don't fall into that beyond silly phrase "revert back" So thanks for that. LOL. Yeah it drives me nuts. For me, it's mind boggling how TV producers who proof read news anchor scripts don't have a clue that "revert back" is 100% wrong. I hear it all the time on huge TV shows too.... it's mind boggling that people on TV and radio have zero clue how to use the term. Admins - since this has zero to do with Stager, please delete this comment. I won't do this again.

This happens to many, if not everyone who is using even the highest quality images as decals or fills on objects.
I can't even say this is a bug.... it seems it's just part of the program at the moment. On top of being blurry, you will find that you will see lines on decals, that are NOT on the orignal image you applied. These lines just appear and no matter if you scale or rotate that ojbect the line or lines stay on the image. Things I hope will get better in time, but right now, this is not a tool to be used for professional work, other than social media or a YouTube video in my opinion. EDIT: I should give thought around my statement that this is NOT a bug..... in that IF this WAS a bug, it would have been fixed in the next revision of the program. It has been there from the first release and is still there today. It has not changed, it hasn't been better nor worse. I would say nobody has tried to fix this aspect of Stager.

I guess that the best thing to do is just learn Blender, might take more time but for sure I won't have any of these ridiculous issues..

I have to agree with you. On ALL the animation forums I'm on, everyone talks highly of Blender.
I started playing with Adobe 3D Modeler last week, I watched a few videos that Adobe has.... here is a super new program, and there is not even a new video posted on this product in the last 4 months. It's beyond crazy if you ask me. I just get this feeling that 3D modeler is going to fail. If you go to the discussion board for Modeler here on Adobe, there is no activity. I have asked 2 questions on there, one yesterday, and not even a reply, not even from an Adobe employee. A simple question -- where is the layers panel ? .... you can create layers in Adobe 3D modeler... you can click "new layer" yet there's no way to see the layers. I hate investing time and $ in a product that may fail, and yes, anyone mentiong this program is greeted with the message - Try Blender... it's free, and it's amazing. Adobe 3D Modeler has a lot of potential, I hope it lives, but there's zero effort from Adobe keeping it alive.
