I teach a photo design class. We use photoshop for the ipad. When I screen share to show them a technique etc, I can't show my workspace, it only shows the picture I'm working with, none of the tools etc, which is kinda useless when it comes to teaching them how to use the app.
Any thoughts?

@3459070738bi By "screensharing" I wonder if you mean "mirroring"? That is a macOS controlled feature.
When you currently set your screen to be mirrored onto another device you should see the full screen - is this issue with all applications or just Photoshop?
Here's some more info from Apple on sharing to an iPad
Here's some more from Apple about streaming to an Apple TV
I hope this helps

This is not a question about how to use Photoshop — it's a question about how to show your iPad screen on Apple TV. I've moved your post to The Lounge. You might also ask on the Apple forums.

Actually, it is about the app. It doesn't allow for full screen mirroring, which according to the IT guy is a PS feature, not a bug

Ask Apple. I do not think that your IT guy is correct. Adobe does it on their events. Apple does it on their events. And IMHO this is an iOS feature.

I use Camtassia & SnagIt by TechSmith for screen captures & video editing. I then export final video & audio to MP4 which can be viewed on any device. I've never tried it, but you could probably tether your iPad to your desktop.

Alternatively, you'll need to find a dedicated screen recorder app for the iPad from the Apple Store.
