If it gets too long before the "go to the latest reply" issue is resolved, I can lock this thread and link to a part 3 thread.

Oh, that looks nasty! I was running around trying to get a condo ready to sell, and kicked the bed frame. I thought I broke a toe, but didn't go to the doctor. Finally, I was having another issue with my foot, so I had the doc xray the toe. He confirmed that I did break it. Not much to do about it at that point.

Hah! As some of you know, I used to be a model. On the set in this pic of me below, the food stylist sprayed hairspray on the celery. She told me she's also sprayed shellac on food such as apples, and has used glass blocks instead of ice cubes and I forget what she said they used instead of ice cream but it was sickening hah. The shoot can drag on for hours, and ice cubes and ice cream melt. They have very interesting tricks.    -edit typo

I love this, @gener7. On the first cookbook I produced, circa 1999, I approved a massive budget for the grocery list. On my way to the kitchen set, I was thinking we'd save money because we wouldn't have to go out for any meals. Ha!

I don’t mean to be a Grinch, however.... to those of you who are
placing Christmas lights/decorations in your yards, would you please
avoid anything that has Red / Blue flashing lights together!! Every
time I come around the corner, I think it's the police. I have to
brake hard, toss my margarita out the window, fasten my seat belt,
throw my phone on the floor, turn my radio down, and push the gun
under the seat. All while trying to drive. It's just too much drama,
even for Christmas. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
