Exclamation comma, question comma

Hey. Do you maybe know if/which fonts are going to support exclamation/question commas and if there is a way to walk around it? I'd need it for Minion in particular.

You can create those as a graphic. I do not know of any font supporting those nonsense characters. That should be a for fun only font. Check with Google fonts. If anywhere, you would get it there.

Are you talking about the Interrobang character? That glyph combines a question mark and exclamation point together. I've only seen that glyph in some newer typeface releases. Helvetica Now has normal and upside down versions of the Interrobang glyph. Proxima Vara does as well. Strangely I can't find an Interrobang glyph in Windows' default Arial system typeface, and that has a pretty big character set. I'm not seeing an Interrobang glyph in Adobe's Myriad or Minion fonts. If it's there I'm overlooking it.

Hi @anetam9829095, that's a great question and I can't find any fonts with marks like that. You could create your own font character from an icon using the IcoMoon app. I just did that for a drawing of a stethoscope that I wanted to use as a bullet point and it worked great! You could modify Minon's exclamation and question marks to have a comma using Photoshop, Illustrator, or another editing app, save it as an .svg file and then upload. Let us know if that would work for you!  https://icomoon.io/app/#/select
