Helvetica and Helvetica Neue in InDesign 2020 Windows Network

Hello,

I'm not sure if this question belongs here or in the Fonts community. We are just now having to upgrade to CC from CS6. Our magazine uses various weights and styles of Helvetica and Helvetica Neue.

We have them all in Type 1 fonts, but many years old. I was able to install them in Windows 10 but they don't appear in InDesign or Illustrator. According to other posts I've read, they should also be added to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign 2020\Fonts, so I did that. They still aren't available to CC apps (I had closed InDesign before installing).

If I have to purchase them again (they aren't available from Adobe, as far as I can see), I will, but I'm hoping not.

Thanks for any advice you all can provide.

Did you install as a user when installing fonts?
The installation method has changed since Windows 10 Version 1903.

If the font file itself is damaged, the installation itself will not be performed correctly.
Type1 is also an old font, so you may want to change it.
