Hi,

I want to order Helvetica Neue Fonts but I am confused about the difference between, Helvetica Neue 55 Roman and Helvetica Neue Roman?

I am not sure if they are the same!

I would really appriciate any help on this.

Thank you,

Palak A. K.

You may say that Helvetika Neue 55 Roman is what Helvetika Neue Roman was, at the heart of a new and enlarged selection. You may read on here:

    Thank you Jacob,

Now I understand that Helvetica Neue 55 Roman, used to be Helvetica Neue Roman. But I have a PDF, when I check the font properties, It says Helvetica Neue Roman. So If I get the new fonts which is Helvetica Neue 55 Roman. Would I be able to edit that? This PDF also has Helvetica Neue Condense, thin, bold, and so on.

    Again Thank you so much.

    It is embeded Subset.

I do not have any of those fonts. I am going to order them. but still when I try to edit them by using touch up tool, it says " all part of the selection has no available system fonts. you can not add or delete using currently selected fonts."  Touch up tool works when I try to edit any PDF which has Times new roman or arial fonts.

Is there any other way to to edit that PDF with Helvetica Neue Roman fonts, even if I do not have them?

Some times I convert them to a word document and edit them but then it changes the whole document fonts and other things like check box fields, table lines, etc...

and sometimes I put the Text Box over the text I want to edit.

Thank you so much jacob for you time and effort to answer my questions.. I really appreciate that.

    Regards,

    Palak

    Palak,

I believe you should ask about

    A) Compatibility between the Neue Helvetica fonts in PDFs, and

    B) Editing options in PDFs without your having the fonts,

    in the relevant Acrobat/Reader forum(s):

    http://forums.adobe.com/community/acrobat

    http://forums.adobe.com/community/adobe_reader_forums

It would be nice to know your findings.
