Fonts: Is there a way to Install purchased, licensed font families not included in Adobe? I have many that I don't want to lose the use of (I paid for them, after all). I love typography, so I'm not likely to stop looking for new ones to buy!
I just started with Creative Cloud All apps, on a Windows 11 laptop I had to purchase when my old computer with CS4 bit the dust. So everything's the "Latest" but now I'm having trouble figuring everything out.
I will be grateful for anything you can teach me.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

As long as the fonts you purchased are not in Postscript Type 1 format you should be able to use them in Adobe applications. You just have to install them in the computer's operating system, be it the Windows Fonts folder or the Font Book in MacOSX. Once installed, those fonts should be visible in the fonts menu of Adobe applications running on the computer.
If your fonts are in Type 1 format it's still possible to convert them to TrueType or OpenType format using third party apps, such as TransType from FontLab Ltd.
If your fonts are in TTF or OTF format and you want to use them in Adobe CC apps for mobile devices, such as an iPad, you can upload them using the Adobe CC Desktop App.
