Exactly how are you trying to install them?

The .WFN files are irrelevant to this process. Normally you would install fonts via the Install (or Add) font feature of the Fonts Control Panel. The .PFB and .PFM files should be in the same directory. Point to the directory with the .PFM files and you should get a display of the actual font names represented by the .PFM files (not the .PFM or .PFB file names). Using the "copy fonts to Fonts folder" option checked, select the fonts you want and press Install. That should do it. If you are getting error messages at this point, you may in fact have damaged or incompatible fonts.

Actually i know that the problem is due to incorrect .pfm or .pfb file.

but i am unable to solve it. these fonts were exported from corel draw 2.0

that why there is .wfn file in the same directory.

Is the any way to recognise these exported font (i.e. from corel 2.0).

I guess that fonts are correct but it is made in older version of Corel Draw

that why it is not installing.

Help Me!!

Thanks

CorelDRAW's font creation capability as well as the fonts that were bundled with early versions of CorelDRAW were known to be fairly problematic. There is virtually nothing that you can reasonably and inexpensively do to fix this problem. May I suggest that since you are talking about a fairly common font family, Univers, that for relatively little money, you can license Univers fonts directly from Adobe or other sources. It would also probably make sense to license the OpenType versions of these fonts as opposed to the Type 1 fonts that are being phased out. Remember that your time spent hacking around to try getting these old, defective fonts to somehow work is worth something, probably much more than the cost of licensing the fonts you need from a reliable font foundry.
