Do you mean you want to know what font it is so you can buy a copy? There are sites to help with that. Otherwise, once it's in an EPS, it's a PostScript font.

EPS is Encapsulated PostScript. If the EPS' PostScript is language level 3 or even 2, it is possible for fonts to be Type 1 (often mislabeled as “PostScript fonts“) or Type 42 (TrueType fonts in a PostScript wrapper). Even Type 3, Type 0, and Type 32 fonts are possible!
