Typekit auto logs me out a second after logging in

I can't stay logged into Typekit on my Adobe ID for more than a couple of seconds before getting logged out.  I am using FireFox Quantum as my browser on a Windows 7 PC, with a Photography Subscription and want to expand Photoshop's font library.

Typekit keeps auto signing me out but couldn't reply as it is locked, but an Adobe staff in the thread suggested adding certain cookies as exceptions.  I did just that and it has not solved my problem.

The date the thread was created (23-Sep-2015) shows this issue has been known for 2 years, the original thread is still marked "not answered" which doesn't bode well.

The list of fonts I have on my rig by default is lacking, to say the least, and most of them look so similar to each other they are almost carbon copies. I am using Photoshop with the Filter Forge 6 Pro plugin for my Doom UltraHD Texture Pack and need to expand my font collection so I can choose fonts that are as close as possible to the fonts used in the original textures instead of the fonts that mostly look like skinny Arial, with a handful of script fonts and a few flamboyant ones.

Hi Hoover1979,

I'm sorry that you ran into trouble with this. It sounds like there may be a conflict with one of the cookie settings in your browser. The Typekit website uses cookies from Adobe.com and the sign in will not work if you have third-party cookies blocked in the browser.

If this is turned on in your browser, you'll need to add a couple exceptions to the privacy setting:

https://helpx.adobe.com/typekit/using/sign-in-typekit-adobe-id.html

Please give that a try, and let me know if you still cannot stay signed in to your account.

Cheers,

Benjamin

I already have Cookies enabled AND I added those Adobe Cookies as the thread, linked in my OP, that is locked stated the same.  This has not fixed the problem and Typekit keeps logging me out a second or two after logging in.

Hi Hoover1979,

I'm not aware of anything else that causes the auto-signout issue. If changing the cookie settings as outlined in that article didn't solve the issue, would you shoot us an email at: support@typekit.com and include browser/version, OS/version? We'll look into it further.

Cheers,

Benjamin

I had a similar issue and resolved it by disabling the Ghostery extension.
