As I recall, Interleaf became QuickSilver, which was Broadvision {.com} and is now apparently aurea {.com}. It claims “QuickSilver greatly extends the capabilities of traditional Interleaf technology (acquired by BroadVision in 2000) and is fully compatible with Interleaf 6 and 7.” And that's more than I know about. I don't know if Rick's video covers this, but the usual suspect is a Character Format in the source (target) text. FM only requires you to delimit the start of a cross-reference of hypertext target, and uses various cues to determine the end of the range, one of which is encountering a ChFmt. re: Every time I edit, a blank page is created at the end of the page. This does not sound like anything that would normally be expected from FM. There are situations resulting in one or two unexpected blank pages, but not 30. Customary practice does not include attempting to delete pages per se, as they are likely to be automatically recreated until the root cause is addressed. And important user content can be lost trying to manually delete pages. Perhaps the first thing to look for is Body pages that are Disconnected Pages. Also inspect all the Master Pages, and see if the Reference Pages contain a MasterPageMaps table. Running an Apply Master Pages operation may fix this, but I'm inclined to bet that it will not.   ... The Table cells can contain any of the types of text suitable for Master Pages (which is both a bit more, and a bit less than Body pages can contain). I'm running a 3840×2160 32in display, at 150% scaling, and the FM2019 home screen opens correctly (i.e. mildly annoying, but no content overlaps). For example, it's pretty easy to cause something in an Anchored Frame to get shoved/repositioned out of sight (or as Winfried suggests, just hidden behind other/newer content). Abdul Muneer M: I am surprised that this feature is still not implemented… Well, for a few instances, the hack isn't too much trouble. Plus, it appears that structured Frame has way to implement it.   I'm maintaining an unstruct work that has hundreds of them, as hidden tiny text, in tables, in the margins. It works, and is a bit of a nuisance, but the ‘marker text’ used is actually more visible than if it were encoded as actual markers. And a lot of it is Variables, or Xrefs to other text, so can be revised in a semi-structured manner.   What's likely a bigger problem that FM needs to address, is supporting all of Unicode (FRMAKER-10976). FM has only ever supported BMP, and most new characters are being added to SMP (such as most of the Creative Commons icons). FM today only supports 37% of Unicode 15.1. Unless something happens, it will be lower in Unicode 16. I'm having to work around it by importing SMP Unicode text as .EPS, which like Xref-by-marker-text, is only practical where the number of glyphs required is low.
