That's exactly the point. Filling the textFrame with placeholder text, with the paraStyle applied into it.

Laubender​ What bugs me more is a different thing: You cannot remove entries in the RECENT section other than trashing the preferences. And that's really bad UX. When I want to clean up my recent menu, I just set the "number of recent item to display" to 0 in the File Handling preferences. And then, set it to 10 again. Or I misunderstood your point? You just want to remove some files from that list? Regards from Brazil.

"The application cannot be started correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application." But the OK button just closes this alert. I'm getting this error when trying to open InDesign CS6 or open a file in already opened ID CS6. Searching the Forum about solutions I can't figure out how to solve this. Tried to call Adobe Support, but they tell me to ask here... because... well, I don't know why. Thanks in advance. Regards from Brazil.

I would do using a script, as I mentioned. But comparing my first found group with a string. If the string is the same as found, apply the paragraph aligning to the left. Else, applying another one or doing nothing. Am I clear? What exactly do you want to do? Your main code is doing anything. The script shows an error? Or simply do anything? You can apply paragraph style (which contains the alignment you want) via script. Try to find () separating them in groups using the (). And then change to $2 (which is your second group / your content) and apply the correct para style you want. Use grep find/change script methods.

InDesign CC 2017 and Windows 10. My client figured out what is causing those error messages. He disabled some features in the object style (like auto size and text wrap), and, in some cases, applied None ObjStyle. The error messages doesn't appear anymore. Maybe a bug?

I don't think so. Because everything is OK when the story doesn't have anchored objects... Is it possible that applied object styles are causing the issue? But, following your suggestion, I checked the story lock state after export the textFrame to icml and get "CHECKED_IN_STORY". That is what it should be, or not?

Hello, fellows. I'm having troubles with icml files. I can export all my textFrames with no problems. Almost all textFrames has anchored group of objects within it. More than one. And some of those groups have a lot of objects. Like this: The problem is: when I place the exported icml file into a new document, all those groups became locked and InDesign shows an error ("Object is locked"). In some cases, just one error window appears. But, in other cases, a lot of errors are shown. A LOT. I don't know how to solve this. I tried to write a code to create a new document and then disable user interactions and then place the icml file. But the error persists. Any ideas?

When this file is sent to preflight, it'll generate only the 4 CMYK plates? Or the preflight operator will need to disable the spot plates?
