I'm not seeing anything. Just a large empty area. If there is supposed to be an image, include it in your post using the camera icon, don't host it remotely where it may be removed. Mylenium

As the writing says, they contain "additional content". Whether you need any of this, is up to you. Depends on what you do, I guess. And yes, you can remove CS4, if you don't need it anymore. Mylenium

Unlikely. The installer getting stuck usually means that a componnet is missing or that there is a permission problem on your temp folder.... Impossible to tell based on so little info. Mylenium

The license will be invalidated server-side, so that other person probably won't enjoy it that long... Do as already suggested and contact support asap. Mylenium

You need to install the software correctly. No way to just restore it from a backup. Without the proper registry entries and install information some things just will not work, most critically of course the licensing service. Mylenium

Install has nothing to do with activation. you can install on a million computers, but only activate on 2. So far nothing critical has happened. Your install failure relate to file access issues which could be anything from permissions issues to hardware problems (misconfigured or missing drivers for SATA, SSDs or RAID). Make sure to run as admin and verify your hardware is properly installed. Mylenium

Simply install it on your laptop using the serial. Those old versions did not use any activation. In fact the serial number is stored as plain text in your registry for anyone to read. Uninstalling will delete it or you can do so manually to render the install unusable. Mylenium
