Then I changed it to: encrypt all document contents, restrict editing and printing, printing allowed set to none, changes allowed set to none, with no other check boxes marked and it STILL allows page extraction. How did you extract the pages?

You get this messages when you perform OCR Text Recognition on a document. I don't know why this happens when you view documents. Did you try a repair of the Acrobat installation?

.Is this the right forum for questions about Acrobat 9? No, use the forum for Adobe Acrobat. I imagine not but as you can see, I don't have much of an idea about all this but I would sure like to know before I buy Acrobat 9. You can download the try-out version of Adobe Acrobat 9.
