I am having the same issue despite trying most of the suggested fixes. I haven't tried turning off thumbnail view for PDFs yet, though, so I'll give it a shot. If that's the only fix, that would be quite annoying, as I find them a convenient way to preview the correct PDF. '   This is also since the most recent update (up to date as of September 26, 2023). Last night I was editing in Premiere when the Acrobat error popped up. Not 100% sure if this is related, but Premiere crashed shortly after that.
