Can you outline the steps you are taking.
Try following these steps:

You shouldnt have been able to close the project with unsaved changes - a dialog should have appeared. Did you choose 'don't save'?

Tiff exports significantly quicker than JPG but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be supported in LRTimelapse.

I don't think you will find a smooth workflow but it might help to render out your timeline as a video and then scene-detect it in Premiere. This way you will take a template of the timings which might speed things up if you have to rebuild things. It all depends on the complexity of your project.

Theres a lot more overhead opening and closing files for every frame. Whats the purpose of a 6k JPG sequence? JPG is normally a lossy format so you wouldn't want to use it as an intermediary format.

Don't know if this will help but something to try:
Under Preferences>Media check Timecode is set to Use Media Source.
You could also try unchecking Automatically refresh growing files if the files are potentially growing through MediaCentral.

Also, when you say 'cut' from the monitor...what exactly are you doing? You can Insert or Overwrite from the source monitor but you can't 'cut' in the traditional cut/copy/paste sense (unless you have opened the source monitor in the timeline as @ScottSimmons says.)

One option is to use Export as Avid Log Exchange...
ALE's are plain text tabbed separated values (with a bunch of header stuff at the top). So you can easily convert to CSV if you want. Unfortunately ALE export doesnt respect the columns you have visible in the metadata display options but it will export the timecodes as well as comments and descriptions.

Timewarp is obsolete and was replaced by Optical Flow. There are some other threads about it - it was mistakenly appearing in some versions.

The bigger problem is the video being out of sync. Nobody is worrying about noise when the sync is off.

Can you post an example?
Premiere generally doesn't have a lot of restoration tools so usually it's a case of looking at 3rd party apps.

As Ann has pointed out - have you used the new 'Instrinsic' crop controls?
In which case, this is applied after the dropshadow. You will need to use the old crop effect first and then add the drop shadow.

If you've copied the folder outside of Premiere, then you could 'Make offline' all your clips.
Then right-click and 'Link media...'
Choose one of the files in the new location and Premiere should find the rest of them relative to that path.
You could also use the Project Manager workflow to copy your assets to a new location (so you don't have to do it outside Premiere) but it doesn't preserve the folder/bin structure and just puts everything in one directory.

Are you 100% using the same settings on the other computer?
The other one could be using software encoding which might yield a different result. Post screengrabs of all the encoder settings on each computer (and the resulting file sizes) and maybe we can pin it down.

I've never really tried this workflow into Premiere but I did find a post on LiftGammaGain which says:
"One thing with CDL in Premiere is that the CDL values in the metadata are not directly linked to the CDL plugin. The CDL plugin seems to get the values from the matadata when the first ALE is imported, but later updates to CDL metadata will not update the plugin."
So unless anything has changed, I think it's a one-time thing.

We need more information.
Does the effect not appear in the 'Effect Controls' panel when you apply it?
or does it appear but you don't get the expected result?
Please post screenshots.

Dragging multiple clips from the project panel to the Sequence ignores the audio track selectors.
1. Select two or more clips with audio tracks in the Project panel. 2. Deselect the source-side audio selectors on the sequence. 3. Drag the clips from the Project panel to the Sequence.
Clips should land on the sequence without their corresponding audo tracks. Unxexpectedly however, the audio track selector state is ignored and the clips land with both their audio and video tracks...even if clips have the same audio track config.

I can see the issue now and I can replicate it on my end. You have dragged multiple files from the project panel to the timeline. If you disable the source selector and only drag one file then it works as expected. Dragging multiple files (even with the same number and config of source tracks) causes the source selector to be ignored and the audio tracks are put on the timeline. I don't believe this is expected behaviour.
@Ann Bens @Bruce Bullis Can you replicate and/or think of any other explanation before I report this as a bug?

It's the nature of VBR: the encoder changes the bitrate based on the content.
If your documentary was just a single still frame for 1hr...you cold crank your target bitrate right up but you'd still end up with a small file because there is nothing changing frame to frame and so very little data is needed to encode it.
A 1hr video of waves crashing on a beach (using the exact same encoder settings) will give you a much bigger file because more data is required to reproduce the complex images.
Premiere doesn't know what the content of your video is until you actually encode it, so it makes a guess based on 'average' content. But if your doc has say lots of stills, or lots of interviews with a locked off camera, then less data is required to reproduce that...so your filesize will be smaller than the estimate.

Are you using a 'Productions' workflow? How did you import your project?
There is an option to import as a project shortcut which will open your original project when you click on it (and therefore any changes in that project will be present).
Otherwise, if you just had it set to 'Import entire project' then it has made a copy and changes in the original won't be present in your new project.

Import your files into the Project panel.
Select your clips and right-click then choose Modify>Audio Channels.
Under "Number of audio clips" > change it to 0.
Now your clips have no audio when you start to edit with them.

Your H.264 encoder is set to VBR with a target of 50Mbps. That is very high for HD video, you've basically given it more data than it needs to achieve a high quality result. If this is a 'master' file then you shouldn't be using H.264 because it's lossy...use something like ProRes or DNXHR instead.
If you're just exporting a high quality viewing copy then you can use a much lower bitrate. Premiere's 'High bitrate' setting is around 15Mbps by default.

I thought that 4444 RGB DNX files were meant to be full-range (of course acknowledging that 3rd party apps could and would erroneously encode video-levels). But maybe I got that idea by taking Premiere's lead. 😉

Have you tried scrolling down in the Properties panel?
Also, are your subtitles definitely in the "Subtitle" format rather than say "CEA-608" in which case there is no font choice (though there is a display font option).

Comparing VLC to the Program monitor is problematic. Firstly, re-import your exported files and compare then against your sequence inside Premiere.
Are the source files DnxHR 444?

Try dropping them into MediaInfo and posting the output.
