Thanks. I thought that must exist. My assumption was having that set to "None" should have overridden the Raw Default. I do have that zero preset created already, and that works..

I normally have LrC set with a Raw Default based on my camera (Sony A7rV). This does a few things like set my preferred sharpening, some basic exposure settings, etc. This is all fine when I use my camera normally, i.e., take pictures and import them. But, sometimes I use tethering when I use the camera for scanning negatives for further processing with Negative Lab Pro. It's about the most efficient workflow. In that case, I don't want this preset/default applied. There is no apparent way to turn that off or apply a different preset during tether like I can do with Import. Or am I missing something? Do I really need to go to preferences and turn off specific camera raw defaults and make Global a different preset that zeroes out nearly everything? It would seem better if the tethering window had a way to override that.

Yes, sync activity does show up. I think that was one of the things they fixed between early 13.x builds and 14.0. My log file is showing access errors, so nothing is actually getting uploaded. I have LrD, LrC and LrW all open. No new albums showed up. So I quit LrC and restarted it. All photos got synced in maybe 2 minutes, visible in LrD and LrW now. So I guess the moral of the story is: if sync appears stuck, it is. Quit and restart LrC. I would not want to depend on this for commercial work.

Did you look at the sync log? Support ask for that? And of course, since we started chatting, I tried creating a new collection and syncing it. Of 19 photos, it seems stuck at 16 in Uploading state. The album in LrM is not visible (yet?). These are all large files, so maybe creating the thumbnails takes a long time. I'll leave it alone for a while.

What version of LrC are you running? The latest (14.0.1) seems quite a bit more robust and you can once again see the status of individual files. With some persistence, you can read through the logs as well. I have encountered a very few images that will clog up the works and I don't know why, but if I remove those from any collections - including All Synced Photos - it moves again. At this time, I am not experiencing other issues. For me, it wasn't a big deal to start from scratch, as I only used sync to do some testing. Now I share some collections with friends and family.

Unfortunately, Apple broke a few things in the print settings and page sizes (AGAIN). I was able to crash out of LrC reliably by going into Page Setup and then Print Settings. FWIW, it is fixed again in MacOS 15.1 public beta. PS and Epson Print Layout (if that applies to you) both work in 15.0

What printer? Did you check that the correct printer driver is installed for it? This had been a problem where Apple would replace some drivers with their own, although I haven't seen that in a while.

Flaky as hell. After multiple restarts of LrC, I was able to get a few more collections and 128 photos to finally sync with the cloud. First attempt, nothing, then 34 even after waiting 45 minutes, then 125 and after a couple of more restarts, all 128. This is not a good experience, even when it works.

NOT SOLVED After spending 6 hours on this today and a few yesterday, I decided to reboot the Mac. Sync started working. But after 34 shots in 4 albums/collections, it's stopped again. I can still add (or remove) albums/collections via LrC and they show up in LrW/LrM/LrD fairly quickly, but photos inside them seem to be in "Sync with Lightroom Pending" state. It's very hard to tell, you can only get a tooltip with luck when hovering over the double arrow sync badge.

I was able to clear that error by logging out in LrC, deleting remaining Lightroom keychain items, then starting LrC again and logging in. Next error report doesn't show that one. But it didn't change anything as far as the original problem.

Looking at the LrSyncDiagnostic log. Thanks for the response John. Yes, dragging a photo into LrW shows up in LrC within a minute or so. In both All Synced Photographs and under Collections / From Lr Mobile (I added an album in LrW and put the photo in that). All normal in that direction.

I am a long-time user of LrC (since day one) but infrequent user of Lr Mobile and syncing. I had previously set up LrC to sync a few collections, and have also synced from my iPad (photos added using Lr Mobile). Now I'm trying to clear that all up and start fresh. I stopped syncing any existing LrC (13.3) collections that had been set to sync (maybe 6-10 of them) by removing the Sync option from them. As expected Lr/Lr Mobile/Lr Web removes these from Albums. I deleted everything from All Synced Photos (14GB used went to 415MB, so it seemed to work) - all photos are now gone in Lr Mobile, etc. Permanently deleted photos in the Deleted folder using Lr Web Paused syncing in LrC I Delete All Synced Data and rebuild the sync data from Preferences in LrC, restart LrC Now I want to start syncing a few collections for displaying on my iPad or web. I set two collections (one existing and one new) to sync. Sync indicator shows up for those collections. I added two photos to the new collection. Existing one had 136 photos. From Cloud icon in LrC, Start Syncing. It immediately shows Synced, no change in storage used, still 415 MB. No errors appear. Photos from these two collections now appear in All Synced Photos in LrC Library Module, as expected and each has a badge showing double-arrow. Collections show up in Lr/Mobile/Web (empty). NO PHOTOS ever appear in these collections in Lr/Mobile/Web, just the empty albums. No errors. I tried logging out, restarting LrC and logging back in. No change. Tried pause/resume sync many times, no change. So, what am I missing? All online posts I found refer to errors, stuck sync, etc. but I don't have those symptoms.

Today's build of Sonoma 14.5 is showing all the expected page sizes. What's confusing is I was on the Public Beta, did a check for update and it simply said macOS Sonoma 14.5 was available. It doesn't say RC, which was the expected build for today. And it seems to only be available to systems running the public beta, not systems running 14.4.1.

I bit the bullet and can confirm that this issue appears to be addressed in Sonoma 14.5 Public Beta. Two minor issues/annoyances, which might not be new: 1) Since I no longer needed my own 4x6, 5x7, 17x22 custom sizes, I used Manage Custom sizes to delete them. They stayed on the list until the Page Setup dialog was closed. Next use of this setting box, they were gone. Maybe it was always that way, just a little confusing. And likely it's the same in all apps. 2) I picked a 4x6 borderless page size for my Epson SC-P800 from the newly restored full list of sizes (not one of my custom sizes). The preview in the LR Print module showed a tiny sliver of white at the botton of my portrait print. I thought I had some settings wrong but couldn't find anything. This was only an on-screen artifact, it printed edge-to-edge, top-to-bottom with no paper white showing.

Read the entire thread. It's an LrC issue with Sonoma 14.4 ( and 14.4.1). Most other applications don't have this problem, but some do (Capture One, Acrobat, Word). I have had the best luck with Epson Print Layout which is an export plug-in. Or Edit in Photoshop (with LR adjustments). Both have all the page sizes, borderless, roll paper, etc. The only thing you don't get is picture packages or contact sheets.

Not likely that you can use Epson Print Layout with a non-Epson printer. But you can send a photo to Photoshop with Lr edits (use Edit In context menu), and then print from PS, assuming you have the Photography subscription.

No, actually it doesn't work as it should. Yes, you can see all the paper sizes in the Print Settings dialog if you click on Scale and adjust it there. But the print is still limited to the short list of papers. For example, in Printer Settings, I set a 13x19 borderless paper size. The Print module still thinks I am using letter size paper and the maximum print size is just that minus 0.12 inches for borders. And Page Setup doesn't give me a 13x19 option.

This is what I see in PowerPoint when I select my Epson: OneNote has very limited print support regardless of this issue, but there is an option to go to Preview which does show all the paper sizes. Here's what I see in Outlook - separate function for Page Setup which shows all paper sizes including borderless, and some random ones too:

I see no problem printing from most Microsoft Office apps - tried Word, Excel, PowerPoint. All paper sizes are there and it reflects what each of my printers are capable of. OneNote is an outlier, with no way to set any page size. Likely always been that way. I can control media feed for my Canon office printer, but not Epson SC-P800. Apple apps are OK. Photoshop is OK. (export to PS from LrC) - Single image, no picture package/contact sheet. Epson Print Layout is OK and in many ways more than OK (export plug-in from LrC) - Single image, no picture package/contact sheet. LrC & Acrobat are not OK except if you create custom media. You can create borderless sizes and I have down so, but they may not work as expected (no expand/overprint) Capture One has been reported as not OK - I can't verify that >> LrC, etc. page size issue reported on pretty much every printer, not just Epson. So you can stop blaming them. This seems to be an Adobe problem as PS works fine. LrC team needs to talk to the PS folks.

I previously suggested two workarounds for this issue: 1) Create new custom paper sizes (in LrC but can do this from other apps, too). This has some drawbacks like getting the sizes right, borderless can still be painful. 2) Export to Photoshop (with LrC edits). This works fine, the print dialog is actually better there and includes soft proofing, but I did detect some color differences in my tests compared to using #1 on 4x6. Yes I did check all the color matching options and profile settings. I will now add a 3rd one: use Epson Print Layout. After installing, this will appear in the list of Export with Presets menu, as well as the generic Export ... dialog. This has a few advantages, especially if you are using roll paper for panoramas. But it does not seem to be useful for using the LrC layouts with more than one image (e.g., contact sheets) - I didn't spend a lot of time on that since letter size works for me in that case. From my brief testing (single image), the color exactly matched LrC (double checking color management/profile).
