Another (easy) way to accomplish this is to browse the file folder using Adobe Bridge and then open your image by right-clicking on it and choosing "Open in Camera Raw..."

Rush is not dead. Yes, Creative Cloud's sync was removed, but that's been the only change.
It's inaccurate to say that Rush doesn't save files locally. You can definitely still use Rush to create and save video projects locally on your device or computer, and many people do.
There are also workarounds for moving Rush files from mobile to desktop, to Windows or Mac, if needed. After exporting/moving the files, Rush projects can still be opened and edited further in Premiere Pro:

Note: Adobe does not use customer content to train AI.
"We do not and have never trained Adobe Firefly on customer content.
Adobe Firefly is trained on a dataset of licensed content, such as Adobe Stock, and public domain content where copyright has expired. Adobe Stock content is covered under a separate license agreement, and Adobe compensates contributors for the use of that content.
We do not train and have never trained Adobe Firefly on user content."

Thanks Greg and Jon. So the consensus seems to be that a purchase of Elements 2025 will work for three years and then the Editor will disable itself with no way to reactivate.
So the only way to continue to use Elements at that point would be to buy and upgrade to a newer release; the Elements 2025 Editor would no longer be available in any circumstance.
I presume that like Greg said, if over the next three years Apple or Microsoft makes a change to their operating systems which is incompatible with Elements 2025, then Adobe would (if possible) issue a free update to Elements 2025 to address that.
The bigger question in my mind is what happens if the customer can't upgrade to a newer release three years from now (Elements 2028) because their current Mac/PC is not compatible with the application's unknowable system requirements at that time?

Jon, thanks for the nice video review and especially for the helpful document describing the details of the new licensing arrangement.
Can you or Pradeep confirm if the software will stop working after three years with no way to reactivate it (even via payment), and will force customers to upgrade to a newer release if they want to keep using Elements?
Asking this question because that may not be possible for a given computer depending on unknowable system requirements for a future 2028 version.
(Note that Creative Cloud software will not stop working suddenly and force upgrades, which was a promise Adobe made from the start.)

Glenn, currently you can already sign in and sign out on a different computer, or activate and deactivate on a different computer, so not sure how what was suggested above is effectively different from a misuse perspective.

Adobe says that Elements 2025 is not available with a perpetual license or serial number, but rather a 3-year term license (for a one-time price upfront) that uses your Adobe ID login.
This applies to the Editor. The Organizer continues to be accessible indefinitely.

Hi Danniel,
You can try contacting Adobe to ask, but they only support the current release and the one prior, so it's not likely that you'd be able to get installers from that far back. Sorry, wish we could help more!

Have never heard this before. AFAIK, Fireworks has not ever been available through the Photography Plan since it first launched in September 2013.
If for some reason that was your situation, it was not intentional nor widespread. The Creative Cloud Photography Plan has always been Photoshop plus Lightroom.

Fireworks CS6 is a discontinued app but can still be installed through the Creative Cloud Desktop app if you have an "All Apps" subscription and have selected "Show Older Apps" in the Preferences.
Fireworks may come up as a 30-day trial but your valid CC subscription license should be recognized after following these steps:

There has been no change in the availability status of Fireworks.
As before, Fireworks CS6 remains available through the Creative Cloud Desktop App provided that "Show Older Apps" is turned on (in Preferences > Apps > Settings):
Adobe's statement that "Fireworks has been discontinued and is no longer available for purchase or support" has been true for some time. Fireworks CS6 was officially "end-of-life" around a decade ago.
Here is a current screenshot from Windows 11, where Fireworks is still available for customer download along with other discontinued apps like Muse, Prelude, and Flash Builder:
Typically, an "All Apps" subscription is required to access these older tools. Note there is no support offered from Adobe, nor any guarantee that these apps will install or work properly on newer systems.
However, Fireworks did successfully download, install, and run this morning. It may come up as a 30-day trial, but your valid CC subscription license will be recognized after following these steps.

The good news is that customers can still get legacy installers direct from Adobe by following the instructions given in the link at the bottom of Ged's post above.

Chris, if you selected the Monthly "No annual commitment required" option then you shouldn't be charged a cancellation fee... It would have indicated "Cancel anytime, no fee" for that option.
What does it say when you look at your subscribed plan here?

There is no charge to change yearly plans, so there would be no early-termination penalty for your previous plan because you continue to be an annual subscriber.
However, a new 12-month commitment period would begin immediately under your new plan and a fee would apply for an early cancellation of that.

Sorry, it looks like Adobe pulled that one, and can't find it anywhere else... The link just redirects to Adobe's main download page and there's nothing further that can be done to get the file back, unfortunately.
The only possible option which might work is what Adobe has mentioned when people request access to older Adobe installers (and cannot find legitimate installers on ProDesignTools or elsewhere):
Download non-subscription Adobe software

Hi Spirit,
Note that Adobe does not normally charge fees when customers change or upgrade plans – but only if you cancel... Is there another/different plan which better suits your needs? If so, that might be something to consider instead of entirely canceling your subscription.

Technology is going to keep marching on – that's never going to change. And Adobe moves ahead the OS version requirements in order to take advantage of the latest available capabilities in their newest Creative Cloud releases.
But since the very beginning of Creative Cloud, Adobe has said they would not force customers to upgrade, and by implication, to have to buy new computers. To make good on this promise, subscribers need to be able to access prior releases for older systems (especially Macs) which cannot support the newest CC versions.
In recent years, Adobe has limited this access to only the current release and the one prior. This is called their "N-1" Policy. Now, today, this means that macOS Big Sur (version 11.0) or later is required, since it's the minimum for both CC 2024 and CC 2023. This rules out everybody who, for whatever reason, is running macOS 10.15 Catalina and earlier.
As others have commented above, some older Creative Cloud releases are still available for direct download, but the choice is limited and it is unclear if those links will be available indefinitely.
I think it's not enough to say that folks can keep their old systems and versions in a frozen, isolated bubble, without ever needing to reinstall their apps... "Things happen," components fail, products can need reinstalling. If paying customers do not have ready access to those prior CC releases for their otherwise-perfectly-adequate machines, they are out of luck.
And since Adobe generally does not make complete standalone installers available anymore for CC users (unless you ask), then people aren't aware they need to have in hand the installers that they can no longer get, until it's too late.
I think Adobe urgently needs to do something about this, lest they continue to lose paying customers who can no longer access a Creative Cloud version that will run on their systems. "N-1" should be expanded to a wider window of previous releases (as it used to be), while disavowing all official support on anything older than N-1 and simply asking that any subscribers who need support for those prior releases just come here to the Forums instead.
Adobe of course still has all those older installers, should they decide to make them available – so it's just a policy change, really. I sincerely hope they do something about this soon.
