We are actively working on a fix for this. Occurs when Flow is less than 100% and/or Color Dynamics Brightness Jitter is more than 0%.

@Jqqerry Unfortunately not. I reached out to the Engineer assigned to this issue who has not been able to repro. I'm wondering if you'd be willing to jump onto a virtual call to help us isolate the steps/conditions to repro this issue so we can fix it?

@Jqqerry Yes, this is still being investigated and looked at by engineering. It has been a challenge to reliably repro.

@Murat29932144pvgh if you disable WinTab in PSUserConfig.txt, be sure to enable Windows Ink in your XP Pen settings. Give that a try and let us know how that works. Alternatively, if you use "UseSystemStylus 0" in PSUserConfig.txt, then uncheck Windows Ink in XP Pen settings.

Try this to see if it resolves the issue: Remove the PSUserConfig.txt file from your Preferences folder (or put a # in front of the string in it so it looks like this:
# UseSystemStylus 0
Then go into your Wacom Tablet Properties and enable/check Use Windows Ink on the Calibrate tab. Then restart Photoshop.
After you've done this, does it still stick?

Great NEWS! With the latest release, 24.4, we have exposed this feature to apply a custom KBSC so you can use it with a non-English keyboard/OS.

Thank you! The video is very helpful! Looks like the canvas is flickering which indicates a GPU or compositing issue. If the problem goes away when you have Deactivate Native Canvas in Technically Preview preferences, it's a GPU issue. I'll have someone from that team take a look.

If you can't find that file anywhere, don't worry about it. You would have had to manually create and place it there.
Is the OS you're running an Insider Preview build of Win 11 22H2?
Would it be possible for you to attach or link to a video that shows the flickering problem?
Does it happen with all brushes or one in particular?

It looks like for some reason, you have OpenGL disabled in Photoshop prefs. Go to Preferences > Performance and make sure Use Graphics Processor is checked. Also go to Preferences > Technology Previews and make sure Deactivate Native Canvas is NOT checked. Then restart Photoshop.

If it ever was in the context menu, it was prior to PS 2019.
Do either of these instead: Layer menu > Create Clipping Mask Hold Alt key and click in between the layers in the layers panel Use the KBSC: Alt+Ctrl+G

You should be able to enable pressure on Windows with Wacom without that workaround. First, make sure you Wacom drivers are up to date. Second, launch Wacom Tablet Properties, click on Calibrate tab and make sure Use Windows Ink is enabled.

@abbsterrr Ah, I know what's going on. From what I can see, those are pixel layers. Once a pixel layer crosses the boundary it is essentially divided into pieces on different ends of the canvas so when you transform it, you'll run into exactly what you're seeing. The recommended workflow in this case is to convert those layers into smart objects so that they don't get broken up or end up with duplicate pieces.

@abbsterrr The bug we have is that when Deactivate Native Canvas is enabled in Preferences > Technology Previews, Pattern Preview does not work/display correctly. Can you confirm that making sure that is unchecked, restarting Photoshop, your problem still exists? If you could share the video you took by pasting a link to it from somewhere like dropbox or youtube, that would be really helpful. Thanks!

The naming and format of the text file is important. It must be PSUserConfig.txt
Make sure it is a text file, .rtf will not work.
Also make sure it is in the correct location. It should be something like this:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2022\Adobe Photoshop 2022 Settings\
If you use this method, also make sure you go into Wacom Tablet Properties (Pen) > Calibrate > and uncheck Use Windows Ink checkbox (lower left corner).
Then restart Photoshop. ----------------------
Translation:
텍스트 파일의 이름과 형식이 중요합니다. PSUserConfig.txt여야 합니다. 텍스트 파일인지 확인하십시오. .rtf는 작동하지 않습니다. 또한 올바른 위치에 있는지 확인해 주세요. 다음과 같아야 합니다.
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2022\Adobe Photoshop 2022 Settings\

Like @davescm, I did some comparative testing of my own between Photoshop versions 20.0.7, 22.5.4 and 23.3. Using mouse, Modifier Keys panel (double-click Shift to lock it), doc size mentioned above, click once top left, move mouse to bottom right corner, click and start clock at the same time, stop timer when stroke reaches cursor location (repeated 3x). Made sure Rulers were not shown and workspace (panels shown) was the same. Results: 20.0.7: average time was 5.5 sec 22.5.4: average time was 7.7 sec 23.3: average time was 6.3 sec * Timing and performance will vary per machine/resources.
Here area a few things you can tweek to improve speed: In Brush Settings panel > Brusth Tip Shape: increase the Spacing. Sometimes hiding certain panels can speed things up (i.e. Navigator, Brush Settings, etc) Turn off or lower Smoothing Switch from 16bit to 8bit (I realize this might be a deal breaker). Different zoom magnifications can affect performance

Thanks @aetracker Based on your system info, you are not using the PSUserConfig.txt file, which means you will need to have Use Windows Ink enabled in your Wacom Tablet Properties > Calibrate tab (checkbox in bottom left corner). If you have that disabled or unchecked, you'll need to have the PSUserConfig.txt file, with the correct string: UseSystemStylus 0, in the correct folder on your hard drive (something like this C:\Users\aetracker\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2022\Adobe Photoshop 2022 Settings\).

@ruskul Could you launch the latest version of Photoshop you're using where you are seeing this and go to Help > System Info, click Copy, open a text doc (Notepad), Paste and save the doc and attach it here? Thanks.
Side note/questions: Do you have Flick Panning enabled in Preferences > Tools? Are Rulers on or off when you see this lag? In Preferences > Technology Previews, what is checked/enabled there?
