Hi All, It’s been 14 years since I had my custom-built PC made, and it’s still going strong—even running Photoshop 26.1! My system is running Windows 10, which can’t upgrade to Windows 11, and while my graphics card still supports Photoshop for now, I know that won’t last forever. Plus, with Microsoft ending support for Windows 10 next year, it’s time to prepare for the next chapter. This PC has truly been a dream machine. But as I plan for a new custom build, I want to make sure I transition Photoshop seamlessly. Question 1 I’ve forgotten how to deactivate Photoshop on my current PC. Is there a specific protocol I should follow to properly remove it? ( I remember you had to deactivate Photoshop once upon a time 🙂 ) Question 2 How can I transfer my settings, filters, and plugins to the new PC? Are there specific folders I should copy from my current system? I’d appreciate any tips or guidance to ensure a smooth transition while I still have access to my old PC. Looking forward to responses. Thank you!

@hanschristof_6713 If everything else fails, I've found by placing the Google Folder into C\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-ins\CC worked for me. That is the Creative Cloud location. I've not experienced any problems with new Photoshop versions either.

@peterg2036972 From memory, there is a bullet point system in the type tool, Improvements to the Adjustment Brush Tool and there is a new Selection Brush Tool. I'm not sure how accurate this is, as I too want to see the release notes for Photoshop 25.11. All I know was from the description before updating to Photoshop 25.11.

I've had the same issue as @Jeff Arola . It happened to me after sending an Error report to Adobe, after clicking Send Report, a dialog pops-up that says Adobe has found a solution with the suggestion to Click here, it went to a generic trouble shooting page and doesn't say anything about the specific cause of the crash. In my case it was when I was in Camera Raw filter in Photoshop. I had just upgraded to Camera Raw to 16.1. It's been fine ever since.

The Blend mode menu problem still exists in the newest Photoshop version 25. The mode menu is still truncated. OS Windows 10.

Hi, I've just updated Photoshop to v 24.7 and resumed a painting I am working on, when I noticed the Smudge Tool Painting Mode receptacle is abnormal. It's a tiny square. See attached picture. All other Tool modes are normal. (I've reset tools but no changes to the Smudge tool mode receptacle) **Edited - Also the Spot Healing Brush Tool seems affected as well. Is this a bug? I'm on a Windows 10 OS. Everything is up to date.

@Jools457 See if this helps. Go to the Edit menu (Windows) or Photoshop menu (Mac). Select Toolbar from the drop-down menu. When the 'Customize Toolbar' dialog box opens, choose the missing tools from the list in the Extra Tools section. Drag the tools in the Toolbar section and click on Done.
